I believe that God always send us prophets. I believe that prophecy should be respected, weighed, discerned. Never despised. I believe that the study of prophecy can be an important and weighty intellectual pursuit.
What follows has absolutely nothing to do with that.
Actually, what follows is complete nonsense that I publish here simply because it allows me to indulge my fears of the destruction that Obama will wreak on the nation and the world. In support of this point, all standards of discernment will be thrown out the window so as to use whatever prophecy, however untrustworthy or spurious, to support my thesis. Here goes.
First, this one from Daniel Pipes.

Normally I don't put much stock in the prophecies seventh-century Muslims, but when they reinforce my own sense of doom, face value buddy. Face value.
Barack Hussein in Arabic means "the blessing of Hussein." In Persian, Obama translates as "He [is] with us." Thus does the name of the presumptive American president-elect, when combined with his physical attributes and geography, suggest that the End of Times is nigh – precisely what Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been predicting.
Johanwa Owalo, the founder of Kenya’s Nomiya Luo Church, and who among the Kenya people of the Luo religion is believed to be a prophet similar to Jesus Christ and Muhammad, and who in 1912 made this horrific prophecy about the United States:See that? Our destruction comes through a Kenyan. Sure, the U.S. lost its dominance in long distance events at the Olympics to Kenyans a while ago, but this sounds even worse. The only way we can avoid this one is if Alan Keyes can prove that Obama isn't eligible to be president before the inauguration.
“So far have they [the United States] strayed into wickedness in those [future] times that their destruction has been sealed by my [father]. However, I am sure that it is very, very bad.

The professor told the Daily Squib that it is well known that some of the quatrains are open to interpretation however what he has translated from the previously unreleased manuscript will certainly "ruffle a few feathers".

We have just witnessed an historical election to be sure. Not because we have sent a black man to the seat of power, but because a fortuitous confluence of economic occurrences has convinced our fellow citizens that a change in leadership was necessary.
A great many Americans apparently believe — not without the help of the liberal media — that despite the fact that Democrats have controlled both houses of Congress for the past two years, those reptilian Republicans are responsible for our current economic woes.

A socialist leader of the U.S. overturning Christian conservatism and attracting praise and apocalyptic hopes from radicals in the Middle East? Sounds like Nostradamus, narrated by Orson Welles. If there isn’t a quatrain that fits it would have to be invented.
I believe that instead of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse it’s the Barbershop Quartet of the Apocalypse. And Death is the tenor.

That is true, of course, but I would add many in that group believe a change in our economic structrue is necessary to cure the fundamental flaw that O identifies.
Let me remind everyone, the “election” is not over!
As a matter of fact, O has not been elected president yet and it is not too late to interrupt this fraud! It isn’t close to being over until the elector’s votes are accepted during the January 6, 2009 Joint Session of Congress. At the worst, we have the ball, we are down 6 points and it’s the middle of the 3d quarter.
American voters must demand that their Senators and Representatives commence now to prepare for action on or before Jan 6, or it may be over.

As a nation, we need to raise hell over O’s apparent disqualification instead of going passive! If you agree, talk about it with everyone you know and help get it on the national scene!
As dedicated Americans have done through the centuries, it is our time to rally around and defend the flag!

Pipes is not Christian, and thus is a follower of kabbalah.
Muslims also follow kabbalah, but they do not realize it. The Queran was written by Jewish kabbalists, and thus the eschatology therein is of the same.

That sounds like the Israelites enslaved for 400 plus years and “Moses” a slave born to die, becomes royalty of Egypt (darkness) and through God delivers slaves.
Also, Rome...400 plus years of rule then fall.
Every one of the world’s superpowers fail, it’s inevitable. Know why? Because when money and power are involved there is always corruption and corruption lead to greed and greed leads to the destruction of that nation. You don’t need to be a “false prophet” to predict this. It’s common knowledge!
I follow the prophetic words of Daniel and Revelation...they go hand in hand. Even though it seems evil is winning, we are promised victory in Jesus!!! That’s where I put my trust!!! Over 350 prophecies in the Bible have come to fruition...no other book on God’s green earth have even come close to that.....I’ll believe the prophetic words of God over all else.

That could be Arianna Huffington that Nostradamus is referring to as not being satisfied, the Vichy Republican gnostic fellow traveler and wily Huffington Post wonk, lately enamored of things centrist and compassionate. When it comes to Fabian Socialism, you have to watch people from Cambridge very carefully...
[ OK,ok, we'll raise the Sarcasm and Satire flag alert here]. It's always possible Nostradamus got things confused after those 16th-century absinthe-ergot cocktails.
