I admit, my reaction would not have been so passive, but then these good people are wanting to continue to reach out to the community. If she had pressed charges, she probably felt she would have lost her chance to ever reach anyone there. On the other hand, it seems to me the cops should have been able to arrest them on something, (disorderly, attempted theft, endangerment) without having someone actually ‘press charges.’
sorry but you are not reaching out to that community, they have so much hate and intolerance you are wasting your time with them,
Hopefully you will press charges, you will fight back and you will get it on camera as they will become more and more boulder with their hate.

This whole thing of “get out of our neighborhood” is going to backfire on them big time. Look for more gays being assaulted when they venture into straight neighborhoods. Violence always begets violence and they are apparently too stupid to comprehend that FACT.
