I do have some sources but did not think about it overmuch. Thanks for calling me on it. I read that some people think because of certain prophecies in the OT that he will come from the tribe of Dan, others Judah.

I’ll look up what I read a few months ago on it for you. I think for someone to claim he is the real Jesus, and be worshipped as such by everyone on the face of the earth, that it’s begging the question that he would be of Jewish lineage.

Think about it, he could not pass himself off as “Jesus” in the Second Coming unless he was Jewish in lineage.

He might not pass himself off as another Jesus...just as another Messiah (just as Obama is passing himself off as the secular messiah...the savior of non-believers).

As many of you know, I've said that all of the End Times prophecies including the 2nd Coming could be fulfilled as early as 2018. I base this on the Lord's promise that the generation being born at the time of the first End Times signs would still be alive when “all these things have happened” (Matt. 24:34) Most scholars view the re-birth of Israel in 1948 as the first of the end times signs. With an average lifespan being 70 years, according to Psalm 90:10, everything will have to come to pass by 2018. If the Rapture only just precedes the 70th Week of Daniel it could come 7 years earlier, in 2011, which is 2 ½ years from now, about half way through Mr. Obama's first term, assuming the election stands.

Yet another "date suggester" that can't read his Bible. A generation in the Bible is nowhere spoken of in terms of 70 years.

These futurists have missed the mark again and again. This new kid on the block thinks he has the magic key that unlocks prophecy. He does not. He is a fraud.

The Bible makes it clear that the "generation" spoken of by Jesus was the 1st century contemporaries who witnessed the sack of Jerusalem and destruction of the temple in AD70. It was really one generation (40 years, not 70) from the time of Jesus’ word to the actual events.

This fellow is soon to join the ranks of Hal Lindsey, Chuck Smith, Edger Whisenant, Harold Camping, and a host of other failed futurist date suggesters.

How then, do you propose, we put food on the table under the new administration? Laying all the responsibility for "holidays will be more about obtaining food than gifts" on government rather than the individual is nonsense.
