Lord, I pray for our President-Elect, Barack Obama - that if possible, you will save his soul. His pastor, Jeremiah Wright said "what we both mean when we say 'I am a Christian' is not the same thing," and he was right. Anyone who studies the Black Liberation Theology that President-Elect Obama sat under for 20 years will know that it has a different Jesus, a different gospel, and a different way to salvation. It is not normative Christianity, and as we saw in some of Wright's sermons, it is devisive and wrong. Given this, President Elect Obama has come to a "Christ" who is the Jesus of the black man and seeks to free black people from white oppression. This is not Christianity as You put it forth in Scripture, and if this is the gospel Barack Obama believed in, he is not a Christian. Further, we take a look at his radical support for abortion and gay rights and we legitimately wonder how could a true Christian be as far off as he is. Infanticide and Christianity do not mix. So, we must conclude Lord, and operate under the assumption that he is not a saved man. In order that we might have peace in this land, and for his own sake and that of his family, we pray for his salvation. Do not let Satan control him. Rather, overcome Satan by Your Spirit and if it please You, save him and America with him.
If this is not in Your will, then we must assume that he is more like a Nebuchadnezzar, who will bring the land to judgment. This, we confess, we deserve - for our toleration of such evil for so many years. If that be Your will, we submit to that punishment, only remember our weak frames, that we are but dust and do not lay more upon Your people than they can bear.
Whatever it is that You are up to Lord. We pray that it will be for our good and Your glory. The time is short. The laborers are few. Help us to make our remaining time on earth pleasing to You.
For it is in the blessed name of Christ Jesus my Lord that I pray these things. Amen.

Thank you for this prayer. I am very proud of the Christians at free Republic. Remember, that Yeshua is NEVER DEFEATED AND THE ENEMY ALWAYS OVEREACHES HIMSELF. I belive he will judge us, but I also belive that he will send revival in the judgement. Remember, he is comming for his bride soon. Even so, Come Lord Yeshua!

Submission to the Authorities
1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. If you can not humble yourself and pray for those who would dispitefully use you, bless those who mean to bring you harm, them you are according to the bible a unworthy servant and a goat.
Pray with a clean heart and right spirit that God would use our new President to bring Him glory that God would soften his heart and use those around him for repentance especially his family, pray that God's will be done not what we think is His will or would like His will to be.
Remember it is God first, family second, and then the USA.
Oh Jesus, I ask you in the name of Your most precious Body and Blood, to free Barack Obama from all that keeps him from You.
Almighty God—
We beg You upon our knees to deal with us out of Your Mercy.
We who chose, as we believe, in accordance with Your Righteousness, will now suffer along with our fellow citizens who chose according to their lusts.
We beg you to remember that you promised our spiritual ancestor, Abraham, that You would spare the iniquitous cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for the sake of as few as one “righteous man”, and that You withheld your hand until Lot— whom few of us would call “righteous”— and his family had been taken out.

Perhaps we might yet require a further time of testing and refinement, if only to see who will yet fall away because it’s just too hard and an easy path has opened before them. Forgive our nation for violating the gift of Liberty that you have bestowed upon us and using that gift to choose as a leader a man who is, right now, firmly committed to the culture of death by which we, as a nation have deprived our posterity of the blessings of liberty by systematically aborting those to whom you granted the gift of life and whom we, as a nation chose to terminate.
Lord please find it in your mercy to change our hearts and minds and to turn the nation and our president elect back towards you that we can then repent of our national sin and begin to restore the blessings that we have so callously taken for granted and so callously deprived our posterity of.
Forgive us Lord. Find it in your heart to grant us mercy and to continue to be longsuffering towards us, though we, as a nation, deserve neither mercy nor longsuffering.
We acknowledge your power to change the heart of our leader as you can change the course of mighty rivers. That is our fervent prayer. Change his heart and change ours as well.
