At 4 a.m., 23-month-old child found suspended in middle of pond while two cougars, a pack of coyotes, and a copperhead were nearby.

"This is what it means to be held" as the song goes.

It truly is a miracle, but in the future, they should put a high spring loaded lock on that slider door.

So was the door open? Don’t think a 23 month old could reach up and open a sliding door. They are heavy. Something fishy about this story.

**“He walked out to get her, and the water was well up past his waist,” said Shanna. “When he got to her, though, the water wasn’t even up to her waist, and she wasn’t standing on anything. It had to have been God holding her up. Gibbie was in shock when he saw it, and really had no explanation other than a miracle.” **

“Be not afraid, I am with you always.”

i SUSPECT that future fact checking will prove this to be a true one.

I doubt it’s on the fact checking sites yet.

...nearly 4 a.m., when Gibbie Gibson, a rescue worker from Wynona, found little Ali standing in the middle of a pond about a mile from her home... “When he got to her, though, the water wasn’t even up to her waist, and she wasn’t standing on anything. It had to have been God holding her up. Gibbie was in shock when he saw it, and really had no explanation other than a miracle.”... right around the pond where Ali was found, people came across two cougars, a pack of coyotes, and even killed a copperhead snake. Everybody was muddy, scratched up, and wet from the big storm that rolled through the area.

Somewhere, M. Night Shyamalan is staying up late writing a draft.

With everything else that’s going on in the Nation and the world, this is just one way God has to remind us that He is still in control and He knows and cares.

And Miracles do still happen.

Teary smile on my face tonight. Wow, God is so Good.

We put a childproof plastic knob cover on the INSIDE of the nursery, a radio on in the child’s room, and take ac-powered monitors into whatever room we are in. That way as long as we can hear the radio, we know the baby monitor is working and we can hear if the tot needs us. And the child simply cannot get out.

G-d bless this little one; so glad she is safe.

This story is wonderful. It reminded me of a story of my own. I am sure that God allowed for my friend and I to be at the right place and time to save a tiny little girl. We were at a park and decided to go for a walk. A small path led around some bushes next to the pond. I decided we should take the little path less taken which led to a place secluded and hidden from view. To our surprise there was a tiny little girl standing on the very edge of the large pond staring completely mesmerized into the water. She was all alone with no one anywhere in sight. My friend and I took her hands and preceded to try to find her family. On a nearby hill we found some people who were picnicking. We asked them if the little girl belonged to them. They said yes. They had thought she had left with her mother who had a while back driven off to they didn't know where. They were totally unaware that her mother had left her with them. My friend nor I had ever been on that path before we found the little lost mesmerized girl nor since.

There was a similiar story in AZ news several years ago- girl about this age was missing and found a few days later wandering near a lake. A man had kidnapped her, and then dumped her by the lake. She had been by herself at least two days before being found as far as LEO could determine. She told her mother and nurses at the hospital she was not afraid because an angel was with her. When you think of all the things that could happen to a toddler by themselves near a lake in a remote area you have to believe she really had an angel with her.
