The proposed constitutional amendment is not a “gay marriage ban”. It simply affirms the long-standing (thousands of years) official definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman, period. The gays can continue to marry each other all they want - those just won’t be legally recognized marriages for state purposes.

The Episcopal Church needs to beat its bishops. (No, not that way, the other way.)

I believe the official definition of the US Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion is the same or similar to the California referendum - one man/one woman, period.

The Bishops are out of step with their church, for which the House of Bishops will congratulate them.

It was the church in which I was baptized and confirmed. I loved the beauty of our little church and the processional, recessional, singing in the choir...and it’s sad to see it going this direction.

and they wonder why the likes of my family left it

the church where we sued to go had a woman who had all these bumper stickers with liberal slogans.

now how can she say she is following God and yet vote for everything she is supposed to be against in her faith
