As Obama's church affiliation was attacked fully expect Sarah's affiliation to come under scrutiny - I don't know how many if any of these sermons she heard but she did belong to this church for some years.

Around here, Bible Church means dispy;
Unemphasized dispy with rare fits of millenarian frenzy is the evangelical default, and "bible church" is as generic evangelical as it gets. That should placate the dispensationalist voter. (I hear complaints that George Dubya has surrounded himself with "replacement theologians". I am not kidding.)
Nothing really jumps out at me from their website as a cause for concern, except possibly not mentioning denominational affiliation (if they have one).

Shes more Catholic than Biden is. [rimshot]LOL. Good one. And as a Catholic it pains me to admit that it is true.
Kennedy, Pelosi, Biden, Durbin, etc. are CINOs in my humble opinion.

Mine, too, Mrs. Don-o. I can’t help but wonder if God hasn’t chosen her for a time like this.

This-here Catholic is so excited about Palin I can't stop smiling and breaking into the occasional jig. McCain did the right thing. My heart feels good. Good for you.
She clearly lives her faith. Just as with Roberts and Alito it isn't which church they are a member of as much as does their walk reveal their faith.
What a great pick for VP!

Unemphasized dispy with rare fits of millenarian frenzy is the evangelical default,Unfortunately, true. Around here, it usually means the preacher went to Dallas Theological Seminary. Nice folks, as long as they don't try to take leadership positions in the few reformed churches in town.

Who REALLY cares what her religion is, as long as she is patriotic and conservative?
Personally, I don’t care what her religious affiliations are. What I know for sure is that she is immenently qualified to run this country, should the POTUS (John McCain) become incapacited.
Nothing should be more important than that.

No, I don’t believe she is Catholic although one might think so with five children.
Definitely a wonderful pro-life candidate.
This has convinced a lot of lukewarm McCain supporters to be jumping up and down in joy today.
And raising $3 mil too, in one day. Wow!

I read she's Assemblies of God though her present church does not list a denomination. A lot of AOG churches may not. We're a rather independent lot.
Being Assembly of God didn't hurt John Ashcroft. Unless you're a leftist.

Assemblies of God!
No wonder I keep misting when I hear her speak. That says volumes about commitment to conservatism and the values we've been trying to preserve in the country.
