Father God, we live in world where we are constantly bombarded by words, phrases, body language, media messages telling us over and over again that we are not good enough. We don't look right, smell right, sound right, act right unless we follow the crowd, buy the latest style clothing, use the brand name products, and more. Heavenly Father, we have been programmed by the Father of Lies to believe the garbage the world hurls at us constantly, day in and day out. Sometimes, Lord, we get lost in it and forget who we really are. In our blinded vision, we make bad choices, forgetting who are we are in reality and how YOU see us. Father God, we thank you that you are GRACE! We thank you that you are FORGIVENESS! We thank you that when our world seems upside down, and tells us we are nothing, valueless, that you speak to us through Your Word, music, others words, You world and tell the TRUTH. Father God, our teens are struggling in the battle. They are buying the lies of Satan, and losing their sight. Father God, remove the scales from their eyes, unplug their ears so they may see and hear the TRUTH of how YOU see them!! That they need not be anything or anyone else other than who YOU created them to be, that You love them, and are here for them every moment of their life! Father God, we loose spirit-filled, born again children of Yours across the paths of these teens who are battling the LIES, to minister to them and sow seeds in their hearts and minds. Bless the seeds Lord for their salvation. Bring your warring angels in to protect them and keep them from harm and making the bad choices because of the lies they are buying from Satan and the world. Stand between them and the enemy. Avert the plans for their destruction in Jesus name, and bring about a change in their lives. Bring someone to show them THE TRUTH! Thank you Father! May your name be honored and glorified with each heart that is changed! IN Jesus Name, AMEN!
I believe that because we see ourselves as the world and Satan would see us, rather than how God sees us and who we are in Him, it sends us down the path of making wrong choices for our lives. God sees us as "TOTALLY FORGIVEN, DEEPLY LOVED, FULLY ACCEPTED, DAILY EMPOWERED CHILDREN OF HIS". Often the result of these wrong choices, looking for acceptance and love in the wrong places, creates another human being in the process. So, to some of you, this may seem odd, but...I believe that if we can get to the hearts of our teens, and help them see themselves as GOD sees them, we will win the war against abortion! It is a HEART MATTER before it ever becomes anything else. Please view the video linked. Pass it on to teens you know, and ask them, as I ask you...watch the ENTIRE video before you react or think on it. (Thank you to my daughter, who came back with a life lesson from camp.)
