“Christian exclusivist and an evangelical” not only a bad idea and contradiction, but it goes against scripture.

I took at look at their website and I didn’t like what I saw. Those two kids have a very limited view of individual rights...they’ll use the rhetoric when it suits them, like advocating the refusal of medical care to prayer, but it’s clear they want the US to be an official Christian state with the Bible as law.

“Christian exclusivists” are talking about how their children should be raised, not how adults should act. I was raised with fairly limited exposure to non-Christians, with more exposure over time. People called it sheltered; I just thought it was a natural way to grow up.

The home school slogan I remember was “When my child has the faith of Daniel, *then* I’ll send him to Babylon”.

You can disagree with it or not but I don’t believe that children should be sent to their schools to be missionaries. They need to be formed themselves before they help form others.

Who is “Christian exclusivist and an evangelical”? These two teens who are heading up conferences, have worked as staffers with Alabama Supreme Court Justice Tom Parker, have written a well-received book, have a very popular blog, and so on?

This is a hit piece. “Exclusivist” is a cynical term for “homeschooled.”
