I believe some will be on the thread during the prayer, and some wil choose to join in spirit rather than through the keyboard.
It should be interesting, don't you think? I envision a clasping of spiritual "hands" all across the nation...cool!

My son is going through a difficult divorce, and I worry for his internal strength. I know he has a strong testimony of Jesus Christ, but I wonder if my prayers alone are enough to sustain him.

From the first post on the thread: “The one thing that we hope to establish here, is that at a set time on Sunday evening, 11:00 p.m. in the Eastern time zone, 10:00 p.m. Central time, 9:00 p.m. Mountain time, and 8:00 p.m. Pacific time, we will as a group, lift these concerns up in prayer.”
This was tried under the moniker “Christian Caucus” a couple of years ago, IIRC. The posters between the lines and knitting a conundrum were very involved in that, again, iirc.
I haven’t seen one of those posts in a long time.

6. I would love to be able to eat well with lots of fruits and vegetables, but right now, that’s just not an option. The only answer for food allergies is healing because there’s no treatment for them.

I am losing my job here in New Jersey. My work is defense related, and because of DoD budget cuts our contract is not being renewed.
For 21 years, I was an Air Force officer and pilot - and frequently away from my family. I missed a lot. Children's first steps, many Christmas days, birthdays - you name it.
I had hoped my moving days were over and I could finally settle in one place.
I was offered a very generous job in Washington DC - but I would have had to go off on my own and work. My wife and I decided we wanted our oldest daughter to finish high school.
This morning, at church, we decided to turn down the job, and not move the children away from their friends, youth group, and schools.
I am giving all of this to the Lord.
Please pray that a job opens up for me here in New Jersey.
