NNNNNNNNGGGGhhhh
for us "tweeners" who dont have a caucus
tweeners being Christians without a denomination who cant participate in any caucus threads
I feel your pain - Presbyterian USA here, or formerly.
If you’re starting a ping list, add me to it, please.
LOL.
Now that's a list I'd like to see........
: )
Oi loiks me tipples, oi dew!
Yes.
maybe weve got a non denominational denomination ?
post 5 is a violation of those rules - you are welcome to stay if you dont have a denomination to call home
maybe weve got a non denominational denomination?
Perhaps it was a God-given inspiration?
There are those of us who have become FRiends, and it follows that we may desire to form a congretation under the umbrella of "non-denominational".
Do continue, Rev..erend. ;)
Been getting in that communion wine huh?
I personally invite you to a Mass in a local parish. Come and listen. You will hear the words of Scripture, the Words of Christ, the words from Psalms, Latin and even Greek.
Come and listen................and then stop and think about what you are seeing in the transubstantiation of the bread and wine to the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ by the priest.
Any of the many Catholics here on the forum would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
former Cath myself - my parents still hold it dearly - I went on to become a Free Methodist Pastor - left them in Sept. - the unfortunate situation is that I fall squre in the middle of Matthew Clarks diocese. Were it more conservative, I could see myself going back someday
I bet you could find a conservative parish. Keep looking and God bless you.
Ok and now for the “second opinion”. ;-)
“Ok and now for the second opinion. ;-)”
Yer ugly too? Naw, just teasin’.....I’m an ugly cuss myself.
Caucus threads are closed to any poster who is not a member of the caucus.
my sincere apologies, I thought you were disrupting. We would value your input by adding you to our non denominational ping list if you are interested.
again, please accept my apology for the assumptions I made
Kindly
rev
I had made an incorrect assumption
There may be some who would contribute a lot who are in kind of a "limbo" state regarding their denominational status at this time.
Most of us are going to be bringing our past experience in one or more denominations, but if we keep our eye on the goal of sharing our Christian beliefs without proselytizing for any denomination, it could be a worthwhile endeavor IMO.
Along those lines, would bringing a commentary by an author who IS of a recognized Christian denomination into the conversation, as long as it isn't outright proselytizing? Thoughts?
You might ask the RM to keep an eye on the thread to enforce caucus rules, as S/he has a lot of experience at it, and could possibly make some suggestions.
