Well Said, I have lost track of how many times this sloppy un-sourcable story has been refuted, Anyone who actually does research can find this charge is baseless, so of course it keeps being brought up by those who don't research what they say, but just post talking points from some anti site.

Well, for some reason I didn't see a ping to this post: If one engages in lying, deceiving, misrepresenting, distorting, badgering, hindering truth, mocking, etc these are telestial acts or behaviors.

When do the mormons intend to stop lying, deceiving, misrepresenting distorting, hindering truth, ESPECIALLY HINDERING TRUTH so that they can "walk the Terrestrial path through the atonement of the Jesus Chirst.???

It all depends how much one want to apply the Lord’s Commandments in their life.

For what it is worth.....

I happen to think that LDS dogma is ridiculous, and not at all compatible with the Bible.

I also think that serious mean spiritedness towards Mormons or any other group of people is simply not productive.

On the other hand, I have long been guilty of condescension, and sarcasm towards all sorts of people. Mostly liberals and muslims but not necessarily in that order, and certainly not exclusively.

I don't feel guilty about that at all, but I am aware that people can be touchy or sensitive. Believe it or not, I use a lot of self restraint out here when I see articles and comments concerning groups for which I hold nothing less than disdain.

The tone is mocking, sarcastic and sometimes just plain mean. As it SHOULD be!

Thanks for all your responses. Other posters have tried the same justifications for their behavior. I suggest reading the entire thread as each of your arguments has already been answered elsewhere.
