If you folks EVER tried to have a reasoned discussion this all would be a moot point. I've had those kind of discussions w/ those outside of the flying Inmans (as you're so proud of being called) & they're very productive. There's very little that's productive about your method of discussion except to show folks how not to do it. Now, that's my opinion, but one I feel is shared by most here.
The sad thing is, it's not just w/ the LDS. You folks often do the same to other Christians who don't believe as you do. One need not go further than the Catholic threads for ample evidence of that.
Those that have been following this thread, by now, have a good gauge as to who's who in the zoo. I feel confident that any response from you or the others at this point will not be a true attempt at reasoned discussion, but rather the attacks as usual. I'm not game. Got a wonderful weekend lined up w/ the family. No offense, but it's a lot more fun than the sandbox here w/ you folks.
All that said, I sincerely wish you & yours the best for this weekend.

That's what gets me the most, the hypocrisy. Many of these folks came on here lambasting you for your verbosity, largely I believe, b/c they couldn't answer the points you made. Now, when one of their own comes on & does likewise, not a peep. It's never about principles w/ these folks, just strategy, tactics, & the win.
I have no problem responding to DU's long posts. Perhaps when he learns not to shot gun he'll get shorter responses.

Part of their strategy my friend is to continue bringing the same things up time after time after time.
Their strategy? Reno you really haven't kept up to date. Every point DU has made over the past 8 months I have refuted - particularly the DNA. Yet it is DU that continues the mantra. He keeps bring up falsehood - I have to continue to present the truth.
I don't know that there are many things in this 48 pager that haven't been said before, & many times over. Unless you just want to copy & paste any number of previous answers given on many, many occasions, I would just let this one go. You nailed it right on the head, it's filibustering, on a grand scale.

If you were to respond w/ a post w/ the length needed, you would undoubtedly drill them yet again, then they would just come back & attack you for your verbosity again. I think folks here that have been following can see the hypocrisy on their side.
Why, that hasn't stopped DU in the past. but when I cut excess verbiage in my responses, I'm challenged for editing.... I am not ashamed of long responses - they are necessary to completely address the topic(s) thrown out there.
As I read the scriptures, their methods of teaching are not what Christ taught.
Then you haven't really read the scriptures. When dealing with heresy and false teachings trying to take over a church, Paul would get right to the point.
