...from the PBs visit to St. Thomas in Dallas:
Another gay audience member who said he met his partner of 10 years at St. Thomas asked when the couple will be able to walk down the aisle together and have their relationship blessed by the church.
I dont think its going to happen this year, Jefferts Schori said, adding that the national churchs General Convention undoubtedly will revisit the issue when it meets again in 2009. I think it certainly will happen in our lifetimes.
I certainly hope that we can expand our awareness enough to see that God is blessing [same-sex unions], and that the church needs to recognize that, Jefferts Schori added. ...our job as Christians is to look around and see the glory of God wherever it is.
So now the glory of God is being invoked in same-sex sex.

I certainly hope that we can expand our awareness enough to see that God is blessing [same-sex unions], and that the church needs to recognize that, Jefferts Schori added. ...our job as Christians is to look around and see the glory of God wherever it is. More Episcopal delusions, just like the clown Eucharist in New York City, the Millennium Development Goals, and the "interfaith celebration" that was "all about the Earth" (but no mention of God) at an Episcopal church in Minnesota.
The Episcopal Church is all about "me, me, me" these days. It has set itself up as its own god, and it pretends to trot out the true God to whitewash evil deeds whenever deemed convenient.

The Episcopal Church is all about "me, me, me" these days.
The Episcopal Church and a fair number of other denominations
remind me of Flip Wilson on "Laugh In" decades ago.
He was just ahead of the time when he talked about "The Church of
What's Happenin' Now!"
