For over twenty years, "Patriot Pastor" Garrett Lear has strode the halls of New Hampshire's legislature...serving as a voice for his faith and his Revolutionary War ancestors. Today he talks with us about Real ID, the liberty deficit among Christians and his colorful outfit. Pastor Lear's church is in Wakefield, New Hampshire.
What do *you* think? Is Real ID the Mark of the Beast? A precursor to it? A bad thing? A good thing?
How are the Islamic dinar used?
1.- The Islamic Dinar can be used to save because they are wealth in themselves.
2.- They are used to pay zakat and dowry as they are requisite within Islamic Law.
3.- They are used to buy and sell since they are a legitimate medium of exchange.
Actually it’s not a bad idea to stock up right now. The truckers are getting very unhappy with the cost of diesel and food is going to go up. You don’t want to be standing in line at walmart for toilet paper, especially those of you in big cities. If you have small children and not much money, start buying a few extra items everytime you go to the store.
I wonder if “the sign” is more of a spiritual thing than a physical thing.
Deut. 6:8 speaks of the Law of God being on your hand and forehead: “You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.”
Revelation speaks of a mark on the hand and forehead.
In both instances, rather than physical things (such as phylacteries, tiny boxes that some Jews tie to their foreheads), I believe that Scripture is speaking of the Law of God (or the law of the Beast) in our thoughts (foreheads) and actions (hand).
So we should guard our minds and watch our behavior, thinking and doing the Word of God rather than the word of the Beast.
Thoughts?
_WHAT_ are you talking about? I definitely kid about a lot of things, but I have a very serious side to me too. I have no idea what text you are referring to. ;o)
Amen to that! I would much rather be part of the solution than to be part of the problem. It's good to keep supplies on hand all the time. A natural disaster can strike any where, at any time
Just like with direct deposit and debit cards. It's taken a few years, but now people would rather use the little plastic card than to carry cash around and stores and gas stations have made it easier to just pay with the card than to use cash.
It's about desensitizing people so that when the real mark is forced on people, there will be very little opposition.
My people perish for lack of knowledge.
Absolutely!
The truth is they don’t know because they are ignorant and because of this have nothing to base their faith on but ignorance. TO be ignorant is a CHOICE!
“Sorry, but your literalist / fundamentalist interpretation of Scripture isnt yours.
If you want to know where it came from google the 1800s Darby, Scofield, et.al.”
Believe whatever you wish to believe.
I can speak for myself, wiht confidence no less, and am quite happy being a pretribber if that is what you are referring to. The Bible is quite clear on that concept and repeated in Scripture. In fact any Bible will tell you the same.
Name call or label me in any way you like. It doesn’t make God’s Word false.
Those that aren’t away resort to name calling and tossing to and fro since they don’t know their Bible. God is in control. My faith in Him is strong and I’m very familiar to put it humbly, with his teachings.
You're absolutely right! I do keep my supplies restocked as I use them. A truck strike or another terrorist attack that took out some interstate bridges could prevent food from making it to the grocery stores. Talk about panic in the streets. People who are not prepared will be feaking out and things could get real bad, very quickly. It's also a good idea for families to have a plan in place in case the worst does happen. Kids knowing where to go and what to do will lessen the possibility that something bad might happen to them.
I find the Bible to be a comfort. Its easy to discern the false prophets and know what to expect in these times.
Amen! Truer words were never spoken. Knowing the Bible, is knowing the heart of God. Once you have read and studied it, no one can ever deceive you with false teachings.
Not even close.
Repeat after me: "There is no pretribulation rapture doctrine taught in the Bible."
Keep saying it over and over as you read the Bible and you will feel better.
Those that arent away resort to name calling and tossing to and fro since they dont know their Bible. God is in control. My faith in Him is strong and Im very familiar to put it humbly, with his teachings.

INDEED, INDEED!
AMEN! AMEN!
UNMITIGATED HOGWASH
UNsurprisingly.
“It’s been interesting watching lots of others follow the same path from dispensational nonsense to Bible sense, rejoicing in God’s sovereignty and the advancement of His kingdom under the reign of King Jesus.”
That’s almost exactly the path I took, after doing a lot of praying for understanding of Bible prophecy “regardless of where that leads.” In other words, I believed I had to pray for objectivity too in order to find the truth of Scripture.
I’ve tended to pray for The Lord’s perspective . . .
as well as His passion for His priorities.
Pseudo-’scientific’ objectivity has usually not done much for me.
"They" also have records of every post we have ever made on the internet. Talk about profiling.
Yes I am a conspiracy theorist.
People don't change. Power doesn't change. History doesn't change.
We all need to read Machiavelli.
