Spanish-speakers are fueling growth in the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which recently opened new worship space on Tucson's predominantly Hispanic South Side.
Many local Mormon worshippers, like 47-year-old Juan Arroyo, converted to the faith from Catholicism while living in their native countries. Arroyo, a roofer who has four children, joined the church when he lived in Guadalajara, Mexico. He's been in the United States for seven years.
"I was missing something, and my life changed greatly after meeting the missionaries," he said in Spanish.
Nationally, the number of Spanish-speaking congregations in the Mormon church grew by 64 percent between 2000 and 2006. There are 639 such congregations in the United States.

The church is growing quickly in Mexico.
Church officials say its presence there began in 1875 when Brigham Young, then denomination president, called on six missionaries from Salt Lake City to bring Spanish-language materials about the church to Mexico. In 1885, a group of nearly 400 colonists from Utah arrived at northern Mexico's Casas Grandes River. Mexico's first stake was created in Colonia Juárez in 1895. By 1912, more than 4,000 members had settled in Chihuahua and Sonora.
More than 1 million members now live in Mexico, a predominantly Catholic country with a population of about 108 million.

21. No priest is to drink wine when he enters the inner court.

Is your salvation dependent upon what you do for God or on what God has done for you?
BTW aren't you the one who says that everyone will be saved, except for the Sons of Perdition?
Seems to me that your theology is OSAS (One Saved; All Saved).
You got a lot of nerve condemning those who believe that God will save and preserve those whom he has chosen to save in spite of their flaws, when you believe that God will "save" everyone.
Some have stoop to being unkind and thoughtless and mean and taking things to the extreme to suit their agenda knowing that they have crossed over the line, but they don’t care.

And no, all of Scripture is profitable for teaching, correction, and training and so forth (2 Timothy 3:16) and it applies to all men in all ages. The Gospel is the same in all ages and false prophets arise in all ages, like the LDS has proven itself to be. Trying to put a time limit on it is a lame attempt to excuse away your own false doctrines. And I agree all angels are not bad, many are servants of the Lord. However, an angel who is serving God does not present a different Gospel, that's the point here. Since the LDS present a different Gospel and false prophecies have been given (whether you like it or not); ths is the PROOF anyone needs to know that the Angel Moroni came out of the pits of Hell.

Well, mormons arent happy because of all those awful false prophecies that Joseph Smith saddled them with...
And they dont seem to want the Christians to be happy either...
but Christians are not under condemnation like mormons are...
False teachings can really make a person depessed like the polygamy one...
Joseph Smith said it was OK when he wanted to commit adultery with another man’s wife and marry another man’s wife...and he told others to do the same but the Bible says that is a curse...
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Deuteronomy 28:15
Verse 30 And thou shalt betroth a wife and another man shall lie with her...
it seems that those early mormons should have read the Bible before they let Joseph Smith anywhere near their wives...
it was NOT a blessinf for them to let Joseph Smith abuse their wives...
Instead it was a curse...and a cause of unhappiness till this very day...
