Why are people allowed to get away with writing such unsubstantiated articles? As a Mormon, I am not taken back by anything of things said by Romney, nor was any Mormon I know, and I know a ton of them. I love my evangelical brothers and glad Romney courted them. He was highly successful in doing so. Hopefully we who believe in the teachings of Christ, and the values he represents, can get passed the silly sectarianism.

Bingo!!! I agreed

At least Romney was telling the TRUTH.

I voted for him as well as the rest of my family about 30, not because he is a Mormon or a Christian but because he is a moral well qualified individual.

Joseph Smith would be very mad at you.

If you love us, have you petitioned the new "prophet" to remove the "Scripture" that Joseph Smith did not canonize that describes us Protestants having "ALL" of our creeds that are an "abomination in his [God's] sight?" [PoGP, Joseph Smith - History - vv. 18-19]

(The fact that LDS tithes pay for this to be translated & spread around the world, coupled with LDS teachings that we are "apostates" and belong to a "dead three"--LDS publication words--is a slanderous putdown...even in my critiques, I don't say every creed of Mormonism is an "abomination"...so these kinds of blanket statements about all non-Mormon churches are not helpful).

Joseph Smith: “My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join. I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were ALL WRONG; and the Personage who addressed me said that ALL their creeds were an ABOMINATION in his sight; that those professors were all CORRUPT; that: ‘they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.’ He again forbade me to join with any of them…I went home. …I then said to my mother, ‘I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.’”

The anti-Mormon, Romney haters at Newsweek, on FR, and elsewhere are subliminally sorry Mitt dropped out of the race ...

Bcause now they no longer have anyplace to direct their animosity and bitterness.

Why is Huckabee staying in this race for the nomination when he has absolutely no chance and in fact is losing worst and worst?

Because the Huckabee's of this world are obsessed with their self-appointed mission to diss and destroy the Mitt Romneys of this world.

They see themselves as building up brownie points with God Almighty, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Hopefully we who believe in the teachings of Christ

Which Christ?

In bearing testimony of Jesus Christ, President Hinckley spoke of those outside the Church who say Latter-day Saints "do not believe in the traditional Christ.”No, I don't. The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I speak. – Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley, LDS Church News, June 20, 1998, p.7

This is from the LDS President who is also a Prophet; Gordon B. Hinckley.

Do you agree with what he said?

Do you mean the Jesus Christ of the mainstream Christian Denomination, or the LDS Christ?

Can you go against the declarations of your Prophet and President?
