If you have a problem with what Jesus said why don't you take it up with him?
>>>Besides, increasing the bottom line for LD$, Inc.
You do realize there is no paid clergy in the LDS church. It's like another scripture where Jesus talked about "Purse or Scrip". But i'll let you google that one. Perhaps you want to argue that point with Jesus too?
LOL...you know that wasn't the question. Why don't you answer it? You do realize there is no paid clergy in the LDS church. It's like another scripture where Jesus talked about "Purse or Scrip". But i'll let you google that one. Perhaps you want to argue that point with Jesus too?
Why don't you address my point? There are PAID people in LD$ Inc. That mantra is old...give it a rest.
Explain to me....what's LD$ Inc. doing buying BILLION $$$ hotels, ranches, and shopping malls?
Galatians 1:7-10
7. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15
14. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
If one believes the Bible is correct, then, by that Standard, Mormonism fails the test.
If, however, you are convinced that the Bible is either in error, been corrupted or mis-interpreted, then you are free to believe whatever you wish.

Of COURSE an 8,000 sq ft apartment for the Living Prophet (the one with the bulletproof glass) doesn't count.
(The Pope has about and 800 sq ft apartment)

3. This is my defense to those who sit in judgment on me.
4. Don't we have the right to food and drink?
5. Don't we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord's brothers and Cephas ?
6. Or is it only I and Barnabas who must work for a living?
7. Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its grapes? Who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk?
8. Do I say this merely from a human point of view? Doesn't the Law say the same thing?
9. For it is written in the Law of Moses: "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain." Is it about oxen that God is concerned?
10. Surely he says this for us, doesn't he? Yes, this was written for us, because when the plowman plows and the thresher threshes, they ought to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest.
11. If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you?
2 Corinthians 2:16-17

1. Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do.
2. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.
