We must pray for the full reunion of all Christian believers.

That is an unbelilevably hateful and uncharitable comment,

Remember the Inquisition.

**Maybe what Saint Malachy really meant is that it’s simply the end of the Catholic Church**

You forgot some of your Bible here, didn’t you?

“And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, 13 and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. “Matthew 16:18

Interesting — the disclaimer at the top said that no endorsement had been made.

To the contrary, the Protestant “system” is founded upon division. Your “raison d’etre” is to protest the Roman Catholic Church - not to proclaim Jesus. If it were, you would obey His words and be joined to His Church (see Matthew 16:17-19).

Gentler words, same venom. You're not in a position to criticize others.

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.

Kindly provide scientific that it is objectively wrong to commit murder.

Thank you.

Remember the Inquisition.

Remember the English martyrs.

Remember the Waldensians and the Huguenots. And on and on we go.

Would you please clarify for all on this thread what you mean by the phrase “whoring church?” I want to make sure that we all know exactly what you mean.

My statement was not venomous. I am merely speaking the truth. Sorry it hurts.

That's cute. "Sorry it hurts." The refuge of someone without an argument. It doesn't hurt, it's sad. Every bit as sad as the "whoring church" comment you objected to. Protestant churches are "whoring" as far as you're concerned -- why not come out and say what you mean? And why object to someone who, in essence, says to you what you say to others?

I'm with you there. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Whoring is something that some girls do in clubs, in dresses that are too tight. When people make this claim, it’s because they are parroting someone else's words.

If we want to throw (crap) at each other on this website that was founded for conservative common cause, then the idiots who hold no God, no Church and no Country will win.

My point is that nanetteclaret was saying the same thing -- not using that particular offensive word, but saying the same thing. I see it all the time in the Religion forum. Why didn't you object to what she said? Or do you agree with her? Why does it take someone plaining saying what others say in a more coy way for you to complain to the moderator?

I too pray that whatever the good “saint” saw, it involved the end of the apostate, whorish RC system.

Before your post gets pulled, I would like everyone to take a good look at what a great Christian post looks like.

And on and on we go.

Exactly my point, thank you. See Romans 12:14-21 for a more detailed discussion.

t’s amazing that followers of the “one true church” (tm) would be mesmerized

You're assuming facts not in evidence.

Your comment (whatever it is, I read no further) is therefore pointless.

That’s impossible. Peter the Roman is code for Jesus Himself - the last Pope (when He comes to judge the world).

Whether or not St. Malachy’s prophecies indicate that Peter the Roman is the “next” pope AND the “last pope” is debatable. Since the “last pope” is not numbered, it’s been theorized that the popes between “Glory of the Olive” and “Peter the Roman” were simply not prophesied.

At any rate, it’s only pious speculation to try and divine Malachy’s meaning. We know how the story ends.
