So, in the final judgment, as John the Revelator tells us that we will be judged according to our works, please remember we had this discussion back here in mortality.

Ok...

KJV Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Plan on spending the night. We’ll turn the heat on in the Dixon home where you can stay. I only have six cases of Cabernet grape juice and about five cases of Budweiser near beer. I do have plenty of Thunderbird Postum.

I have a new recipe for Filet de Mignon as cold weather is now setting in so we won’t break the WoW by eating meat unsparingly. Other than that we have a network of four computers up and running in the new building so we can all freep each other all night.

What happens if you fail to serve Him with those works He has called on us to do?

Like these?

KJV John 6:28-29
28. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29. Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

...try to isolate a few examples of what you consider "that crap" to be.

Good luck!

“Nothing” is not correct and neither is “Simply believe and have faith in Jesus” since off the top of my head I can think of four things.

Then you can post them and we'll discuss them.

Oh heck Yes, you are invited too, you lovely she-devil!

When can you make it? Poor Binger, he will have such a hard time keeping up with all four of us ex-Mormon women (you, me, my sister, and his wife).

Are you game Bing?

You cannot escape this:

This grace is an enabling power that allows men and women to lay hold on eternal life and exaltation after they have expended their own best efforts.

Divine grace is needed by every soul in consequence of the fall of Adam and also because of man’s weaknesses and shortcomings. However, grace cannot suffice without total effort on the part of the recipient.

Mormonism explicitly teaches that grace is insufficient, and that it is YOUR works that are the ultimate cause of your own "eternal life and exaltation".

Therefore, we rightly denote Mormonism to be a religion of works and not of Love, Grace and Mercy.

Why, in the early Mormon religion there was the "blood atonement" by which a man had to atone for some sins with his own blood in death, thusly explicitly and expressly denying the Atonement of Christ for all the sins of the Redeemed.

Matter of fact we should have General Conference meating down here. You can both run for poundit, sear, and tenderizer of the steak recipe. Also we can all pray to the Thunderbird God and thank him for clear and understanding vision as we consume large quantities of the fine liquids he has provided. In the name of the sun, the stars, the full moon and the lightning.

So, in the final judgment, as John the Revelator tells us that we will be judged according to our works, please remember we had this discussion back here in mortality.

Judgment, which determines one's rewards either in heaven or hell is based on works. Salvation is based on God's Grace, through faith in Christ, alone.

Sadly, your religion confuses them and makes your eternal life based on your own works.

This has been good advice for me: “If ye love me, keep my commandments” Cheers.

Do you keep the commandments perfectly? Why not?

It becomes apparent (weeks ago) that LDS will cite the Church Fathers where it serves to valid the heresies in Mormonism, but will scoff at the Church history in general as apostate. The bait and switch, switcheroo, and dissembling is more than my feeble intellect can keep up with without a scorecard/playbill. Nice pictures though ... and how much do you understand about the history of baptism in Judaism?
