No one is "taking joy" in any of this "misfortune."

But to even call these terrible sins "misfortune" is to diminish it ...again and again and again.

I’m glad you don’t, Salvation. I suspect that not too many Americans are hyper-denominationalistic at all, even though many at the highest reaches of their hierarchy are radical hyper-denominationalists.

And neither do most Protestants for that matter. Instead of arguing about who has the most, why not say this is horrific no matter where it happens, and denounce those who practice this vile act? I don't understand why it turns into a Catholic VS Protestants numbers game every time.
