"Many of our churches with beautiful steeples on the New England coast were built with money from the slave trade," he said. "We have to be able to tell the reality of our history. This is spiritual work." Is Christianity about the sins of the individual? Or sins of the group?

They should rename the church to “The Church of White Guilt.”

They’re almost Univerally Guilt-Ridden White Liberals.
I’ve been to a Unitarian Church. It ain’t a religion - its group therapy.

Its best they perform a kool-aid ceremony like that other famous anti-racist cult leader Jim Jones.

I p*ssed off a bunch of Unitarians once.
They left a giant burning question mark on my lawn.

I guess they need a little more time to figure out that most members of racial minorities tend to hold very conservative values when it comes to their faith.
They aren’t going to buy the Bravo Sierra these touchy-feely white folks (a tip of the hat to George Jefferson) are selling.

A convict on Death Row, the night before his scheduled execution, was visited by the warden. The warden, in talking with the condemned man, said,
“Usually at this point, persons in your situation find great comfort in talking to a member of the clergy. With that in mind, would you like us to send the prison chaplin over for a visit?”
The convict replied, “Well, warden, I have to tell you - I was raised a Unitarian Universalist.”
The warden then said, “Well, then, would you like to talk to a math professor?”

Unitarians Find They're Almost Universally WhiteMarvellous headline!
Why "almost" universally?
Do Unitarians have some dark patch behind the ear or under the knee?
Or are those on Alpha Centauri more gray than the others?

Unitarians are so far to the left of whackadoo...it’s hard to classify them as Christians. Still it’s not my role to judge... but who cares what they think or do?
To: Between the Lines
The vast majority of “Unitarians” are of a Middle Eastern complexion. There are millions of these believers who fit well with Unitarian beliefs.
