"Many of our churches with beautiful steeples on the New England coast were built with money from the slave trade," he said. "We have to be able to tell the reality of our history. This is spiritual work."

Is Christianity about the sins of the individual? Or sins of the group?

“Unitarians Find They’re Almost Universally White”

OMG! We must execute them now.

Is Unitarianism Christian?

...said Mishra, an Indian American who says he is one of only three Hindu ministers in the UUA.

Not really.

According to Santos, Christian churches themselves are a sin. Unitarians are not Christians. They’re not much of anything, really. They’re not even required to believe in a God at all. Its really more of a social activist club with the trappings of a church to provide spiritual comfort. Look up a UU service some time, get the schedule of event. Look at what the speaking topics are. I’ve never seen a UU topic in my town’s paper that addressed traditional religious subjects; sin, forgiveness, salvation, any of that stuff. Every single speaking topic I’ve seen in my paper for my local UU “church” has been a political subject. Things like how to impact your environment, tax policies hurt the poor, things like that. Imagine a guy with priest’s robes but giving speeches Al Gore would love. That seems to be my local UU’s MO.
