Gads! What happened to Cdl Mahony? Did he get hit on the head with the barbell from Heaven? He sounds almost...gasp...orthodox.
This is so nice livius.
It really is! I hope he keeps it up. Never underestimate the power of Our Lady.
:)
They could have a combination service.
With such a diverse group they ought to have prayed the Rosary in Latin.
Glad to see you had someone constructive to add to the conversation. Two weeks in and a Johnny One-Note is born. nice.
Who did they pray to?
The same can be said for RC regurgitation of indoctrinated cliches.
So I am indoctrinated and spouting cliches, LOL? All I commented on was your insulting comment about Catholics praying at the Rose Bowl. But you are right, that makes me the indoctrinated one. How was your meeting with Mr. Jack Chick?
Don’t know if you’ve seen the thread yet, Ping.
My reply was not limited to the comment on the Rose Bowl.
Ahh, so you rehash the typical comment you’ve used multiple times today on me for making a comment about your Rosary comment, but I’m the indoctrinated one. LOL. You use a very interested type of logic, very interesting.
Not many people know the Creed, the Our Father, and the Hail Mary in Latin. Howeven if such a diverse language group should meet for mass, then Latin would be appropriate. Just like Rome.
StAth, you just invoked Irving's Law. Risky wins the round by default.
Irving's Law: once a comparison is made between [Pharisees/anti-Semitism/Jack Chick tracts] and someone's theology, the discussion is immediately finished - and whoever makes the comparison automatically "loses" whatever debate was in progress, forfeiting all points previously scored.
How about Aramaic?
They can say all the Hail Marys they want. It’s still not going to help the Wolverines.
I don’t get it Larry Lucido.
(A joke about the Michigan Wolverines not being able to win a Rose Bowl very often). :-)
