It’s not the capitalist system that marginalizes God, it’s certain capitalists that do. It’s not the system, but the individuals that abuse the freedom that Capitalism provides.

Marxism, by its’ very nature does marginalize God, by substituting Man for God.

At its worst, capitalism co-exists with God.

At it's best, Marxism co-exists with no one or nothing except it's totalitarian godless ideology.

I expected more depth of thought on this subject from the Pope whom I admire deeply. Superficially equating the two philosophies does a disservice to the sound-bite world.

Capitalism has done more to bridge the gap between wealth and poverty than any other system devised by mortal man......despite the best efforts of communists, socialists and perverted capitalist crooks and greed merchants.

How funny. The MSM just loooooves capitalism, right?

I’ll bet that if the Pope mentioned trans-fats were bad, we’d have a rush of articles claiming trans-fats are the greatest thing since ethanol.

Now, if we could just get the Pope to say that science has proved beyond a doubt that global warming is caused by my van ...
