I was raised Episcopalian but am in the process (very slow, for me) of becoming Catholic. Can you tell me of Catholic discussion websites that would help me learn more? Thank you.
God Bless You.
I'll try to think of some good Catholic websites or blogs that would be interesting. In the meantime, I'm pinging NYer, who knows everything, and some recent FR converts from the Episcopal and other churches. Best wishes and may Our Lord be with you.
Welcome, FRiend, on your journey! This site above has discussions and a Forum thread. It is edited by Karl Keating.
There are a great many other sites that are gems. I would never overlook Dave Armstrong's website:
Another great site is the Jimmy Akin blog (just search the subject)
Finally, I have links to the Church Fathers if you Freepmail me.

IMO, any place where they highly regard Bishop Fulton J. Sheen and our current Pope's is not a bad place to start.
I mention Bishop Sheen specifically, because he has a series of talks for people (those deciding or recent converts) who perhaps aren't aware of the reasons why Catholics do what they do. It's called "Life is worth Living" series, and although it was recorded in the 50's or 60's, it's completely relevant to today world. The man had a great foresight then about how things would so rapidly deteriorate to our current situation. These talks simply give a Catholic reasoning on the Christ, the Trinity, the Mass, the Sacraments (all of them individually discussed), the Priesthood, our Commandments, the world, love, marriage, the human soul..etc. He has also written plenty of books out there.
You can listen to his talks (mp3) on the web here
Hey, Walden, I see you are in Texas. Not sure where in TX you are, but TX has several Roman Catholic Parishes which are Anglican Use Parishes- The Anglican Use Parishes were Episcopalian Parishes which joined the Catholic Church corporately.
http://www.pastoralprovision.org has a list of them. Our liturgy is based on the 1928 Book of Common Prayer.
My Parish is in San Antonio. My Priest was an Episcopalian Priest, who was allowed by JPII to become a Catholic Priest.
The Parish website is:
