Yup.
This is SOOO true. It is the very reason our actual bodies will one day be in heaven, glorified -- God loves the bodies of His children. This is the basis for the Protestant work ethic and why Christianity is the only way to true psychological health and well-being. God's children work the soil and grow crops and replenish the earth and raise strong children and PREACH THE WORD OF GOD so that the Gospel may benefit all who hear it and rejoice.
Well, you've just utterly denied the power of Christ and deffered to dicators, so nuff said.
WELLLLLLLLLL EXCUZZZZZZZZE me!
At least 1500 years or more of Christians would agree with me and disagree with you.
Christ said turn the other cheek, not bend over - and bend over we shall if we permit the cancer of international Islam to spread and destroy the civilized world.
We have an obligation to civlization as much as to religion, and Islam is as vicious as NAZIsm or Communism.
IOW, I believe it is possible that both of us can be looking at the same diamond, the same Light but from different facets and see things a bit differently, and both be seeing Truth but not the whole Truth.
Thus I am not troubled when I know a Truth and you testify to a Truth which on the surface may seem to be incompatible. Either/or is a way man reasons but we should not impose that on God. If we do, then we are anthropomorphizing Him.
For that reason, I do not get upset when one Christian sees most clearly grace by faith and not of works least any man should boast and another Christian sees most clearly faith without works is dead.
For the same reason no matter what theological differences may separate us in this life, dear kosta50 I look forward to seeing you on the other side.
GREAT POST.
A quick comment on:
Or perhaps Hell merge me into someone else.

I don't think so. The closest I could imagine to that would be . . .
IF as some physicists have postulated, there are an infinite number of worlds like our own on which parallel US's exist . . .
such that at EVERY significant decision point, a NEW US and supporting earth and universe are spun off . . .
Then it is CONCEIVABLE to me that God would collapse all the individual US's into ONE US at the conclusion of these grand exercises and boot camps.
Otherwise, I think His investment in the unique individuals THAT HE HAS MADE US is tooooo dear TO HIM to compromise or mangle or combine said IDENTITY/PERSONALITY/PERSONHOOD with anything else but US.
There are evidently a myriad of ways HE CAN MERGE with us WHILE MAINTAINING OUR PERSONALITY/IDENTITY/PERSONHOOD. I do not see HIS CAPACITY FOR MERGING US WITH HIMSELF compromised in the least by HIS maintaining our unique identities.
imho
yeah check out what 400 years of proestantism did to 'Christian Europe' then get back to me.
I will NOT be baited into an attack on fellow Christians. My target is our common enemy - Islam.
I do experience the mind of Christ as described above. Moreover, I easily recognize others who have the same mind. And we speak a different language, a spiritual language which the natural man cannot understand.

Well put, imho.
the enemy i wolves trying to pervert people away from scripture regardless of the tactics.
protestantism castrated almost a 1000 years of Christianity in Europe leaving it wide open for Islam.
even with the athiests in control of the government in the East, the Christians held out. even with millions of casualities as the soviets murdered Christians...
"And I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow Master O'Kolokotronis."
Sure and I will, with all my Irish cousins from Da's side of the family. The local Latin Rite Bishop (a good Irishman who made his dear old mother proud), who as we all know has canonical jurisdiction over the exercise of economia on matters touching upon fasting when the feast of our Great Saint falls in Great Lent, has issued all the Irish a pass for tomorrow! Guess what I'll be doing!:)
Judged by ones own personal morality could be a harrowing adventure.. as a pre-trial.. or hearing.. for the especially hard headed and arrogant.. Who, I ask, could survive the pressure they/some have put on others all their lives.. by lack of forgivness..

INDEED. Very sobering to any thoughtful person.
THX.
Does your Bible contain 1 Corinthians 2:16?
"For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."
Does your Bible contain these verses?
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." -- Ephesians 4:32 "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses" -- Colossians 2:13 "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." -- James 5:15 "I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake." -- 1 John 2:12"Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin." -- Romans 4:7-8
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." -- Hebrews 10: 12-14
And not our own conscience alone, but how we deal with the conscience of others:

INDEED.
Am reminded of the many reports of the LIFE REVIEW with Jesus at one's side . . .
every subatomic particle of choice, feeling, thought, WORD, experience that one has . . . IS REVIEWED
AND
EVERY OTHER PERSON'S RESPONSES TO EACH PARTICLE OF BEING AND EXPRESSION OF ONE'S SELF IS ALSO REVIEWED. WE SEE THE CONSEQUENCES of all such in minute detail in terms of everyone we have touched--as though we were them--seeing, hearing, feeling what they felt as we interacted with them.
And Jesus wants to know what we have learned--rather--challenges us to articulate what we have learned.
That rings true to me as likely the real deal. We shall see.
HOGWASH. There's more than one way to insult God.
BTW, aren't you the character always ranting about 286 words about women covering heads and speaking in church or being in leadership over men or some such . . .
Interesting.
This thread was started by . . . an article by . . . drum roll . . . a woman.
Mary Harwell Sayler
Yet you seem quite comfortable agreeing with her instruction, teaching over the men on this thread.
I find that more than a little incongruous.
I'm sure you have an . . . explanation.
