Shocking developments concerning a man who claimed he was sexually assaulted by a catholic priest. Tom Monroe, 53, organized a news conference more than a year ago to announce with his attorney a lawsuit against the Pueblo Catholic Diocese. Monroe claimed he was sexually assaulted by Marianist Brother William Mueller while attending the former Roncalli Catholic High School. But Monroe's attorney has now announced that Monroe's been dropped him from the lawsuit.
News First obtained several hours of home video that Monroe made, and on one tape he appears to be talking on the phone and admits he's not a victim of Mueller. "I feel worse being called a victim because I know I'm really not," said Monroe, "I know real victims who (are) not gonna get no help. But I guess what it is is, I'm being called a victim and I might get a million bucks. And these are real victims are getting nothing except more shame. And that's probably why I feel so bad about it."
We were not able to contact Monroe for a response, but he told the Denver Post that he made the statements because he was in denial. News First is continuing to review the video tapes and we'll bring you more as soon as we can.
There are still 21 victims in the lawsuit against the Pueblo Catholic Diocese. The Diocese has not yet seen Monroe's tapes.
(After all, if a Catholic priest is accused, he is guilty until proven innocent)

I'll bet many -- because they were hunted down by ambulance chasing attorneys.
Those who make false accusations should face treble penalty of those they accused, after triple retribution for any losses.
Under the Old Testament law (Deut 19:16-19), bearing false witness in order to get a (false) conviction brought the penalty back against the accuser when he or she was exposed, i.e. eye-for-an-eye, etc. There would be no multiplying of the penalty, however - and in this aspect, the OT Law was actually more merciful than the laws of the heathen/pagan nations.
Lawyers ditch client in suit against Catholic Diocese
Apparently there are plenty of legitimate victims:
Herman continues to represent 21 other former students of the now-closed Roncalli High School in Pueblo, who filed lawsuits in 2005 and 2006. They charge that they were molested by the same teacher, William Mueller, a brother with the Marianist Religious Order, between 1966 and 1971.

Many others who filed suit claim that Mueller would ask them to stay after school to help him with an experiment for his master's thesis. Some claimed that he covered their faces with rags soaked with ether or chloroform and sexually assaulted them after they passed out.
You have to be careful when judjing, there was at least one person who was NOT molested but claimed otherwise! The main thing about this is that Thomas “Tom” Roy Monroe is a major Career Criminal and Pathological Liar! He has had over 80 arrests and way over 100 Charges from current to a few years back. One of the District Court Judges in Pueblo, CO stated that Monroe was a Master Manipulator and Chronic Liar and Master Con Man, a County Judge in Pueblo stated that Monroe was completely unbelievable and issued a Stop Order against Monroe for so many frivolous Lawsuits. There are two seperate Recordings of Thomas Monroe admitting lying in order to gain money in a settlement and stating he (Monroe) would become rich. There are other Recordings, one made it onto Local and Statewide News providers, Television, News Papers, etc., planning the Murder of Dr. Michael Coots. Dr. Coots had testified against Monroe in several Court Cases.
Monroe claims to be a Doctor which he is not and never has been but ran a Practice until the Colorado Attorney General and other agencies closed Monroe down for several violations including misconduct with two young female “patients”. Monroe continued to Practice until Criminal Charges were pursued.Dr T Dillon
