Play a game with Joel Osteen

While we were enjoying our turkey and getting a head start on shopping for the holidays, fellow local bloggers brought to our attention a new board game we can get our friends for Christmas: Your Best Life Now: The Game. Why buy the game of Life when you can buy Your Best Life Now, right? Hmm.
The board game takes you through "The 7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential." Our favorite is Level 2: Develop a Healthy Self Image. On this level, you have 15 seconds to look into a mirror (included with the game) and make positive statements about yourself. Wow wheres Stuart Smalley when you need him?
The first person to reach Level 7: Tomorrow, wins the game. If youre not that person, we guess you'll have to wait for the next round to try to each your potential. (Loser.)
While Houstonist understands the need for messages like Osteens, we just think the whole board game idea is sort of creepy. However, religious games have been around for over a hundred years. You can purchase religious versions of Pictionary, Bible Trivia, and a game based on the Left Behind series.
We wonder if theres a spot on the board that will make you lose a turn if your spouse has an altercation with a flight attendant?

It amazes me how folks rush to rack up judgment against themselves for their judgmentalism.

How about this game? HEY it makes you think about Jesus...
Dressup Jesus flash game
Will even that provoke some righteous indignation in you? Or are you still buying the crummy hermeneutics that rushes to spit out "judge not lest you be judged" at every valid criticism?

I’m also reminded of all the Catholicism-judging posts I’ve read from Quix...hmmm... seems to be a double standard here.

Speaking just as a Christian, Joel Osteen creeps me out. You're so judgemental. Keep in mind you rack up judgement for yourself for using any discernment...er judging others who claim to be Christian!

My goodness.
Did you get the comic version of the DSM IV or is it V . . .
or the
DSM IV FOR RUMMIES version?
I haven’t actually seen either one but clearly they must afford lots of humorous fantasies as your post illustrates.

In my experience,
your mangling of my English indicates a gross failur to understand/comprehend it.
So I’m rarely inclined to bother.
