No. Strange people, like those in the UK, Ireland, and Canada, often say bonnet when they mean the hood of a car. In Eire and the UK, yes - but if that is the case in Canada, why did fanfan think I was speaking of Easter bonnets? :-P

I know how to turn a wrench, I've helped install a tranny, fix a carburetor, replace brake pads and shoes, and can change a tire as well as change the oil and filter! I can also repair a lamp, and install weather stripping. Not to mention fix a running toilet so it stays fixed...
I also have lacy, silky dainties "just in case" I meet a mechanic I can't live without...;o]
