No. Strange people, like those in the UK, Ireland, and Canada, often say bonnet when they mean the hood of a car.

In Eire and the UK, yes - but if that is the case in Canada, why did fanfan think I was speaking of Easter bonnets? :-P

She doesn't know anything about cars. Girls don't worry about mechanical things. They just go around putting clothes on animals and stuff.
