But my Father was born a jew (both his parents were jewish), not a catholic.
I used to go to a Yeshiva, and whenever I brought up the words "Yeshiva" or "Rabbi", he would break out into derisive laughter.
By the way, my Father has long since sold his occult store. I do not know if he still sells occult items (he also had a mail order business). But he does sell guns, antique guns.
Years passed and you became acquainted with FReepers. So I guess it came true. ;-)

'Zactly. Especially Xenalyte and humblegunner. They're really weird.
Nick's in September, y'all!
Great story!
You don't have to be Catholic to take advantage of the Catholic Sacraments. What's even more humorous about this fact is that Jesus would WANT you to use the Mass to help you and all of those you love, and even help you with those who cause you pain and misery.
I don't know how much it's a lie; but half the time that's all the silly thing gets used for. By telling my kids it's a big waste of time, and it IS, I want to deflate this stupid thing's influence.
"If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."
People could try to "talk to spirits" with a Monopoly set,
This I gotta see!
Is that how Donald Trump got his start?
I, too, can witness as to the dangers of Ouija. I got a nasty paper cut reading the instructions once.
You'd have to do the initial legwork yourself, but it's do able, take all the Community Chest and Chance cards and decide what they "mean" then decide on a decide on a tableau and boom you've just invented Monopoly Tarot. Probably the modern age of woovie-groovie people are too lazy for that, much easier to buy a pre-existing set of cards that comes complete with "meanings" and a lay out, but it can be done, and probably wouldn't be any sillier.
You may want to rephrase that.
"If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."
LOL! Words to live by!

Agreed. Actually, I should clarify. To receive the Holy Eucharist, one must be Catholic and in a State of Grace.
However, just as Jesus gave Himself to all mankind (including gentiles) in need of His healing power, a non-Catholic may ask the Church for His intercession. It's not wrong to offer a Mass Intension for a non-Catholic. Furthermore, I doubt there'd be a problem if a non-Catholic asked for a Mass Intention.
Praying for only those in your spiritual group is not a high achievement since even pagans offer such affection to themselves. Praying for those not of your spiritual background is a quality not of the flesh.
Do you watch Ghost Whispers?
In one of the episode of the earth bound souls were being held captive by evil forces!
So when playing with the the Ouija board you never know who you run into those who have unfinished business on earth, or those who are dangerous!
So it is best to take council from the Lord and not conjure them up!
that is Hilarious.
This is just a frickin game folks. it is all in the eyes of the beholder.
like putting a Jihad one someones Yahtzee dice.
There's a book that recounts this story. It's terrifying!
