Ive mentioned that tomorrow the Episcopal Diocese of California (i. e. San Francisco) elects a new bishop.
What hasnt gotten as much attention is that the Diocese of Tennessee will hold another ballot tomorrow in its bishop election. That election has been deadlocked because the laity have insisted on a strong orthodox bishop and nothing less while the more liberal clergy desire otherwise. Good for the laity! Dont give in!
Obviously, both elections are matters for prayer.
