Well, the picture that is posted on the site doesn't show up (sorry) so you'll have to look at the website itself.
You can discern the "666" but I think it seems to be more chance than anything else.

Yep. And most artists were painting with their tails, although the more brazen ones used a rear hoof to hold the brush. I knew that sooner or later it would be found.

I guess we will have to wait and see if the RCC just dismisses this as nothing more than the fantasies of certain Catholic individuals who are bent on trying to notice something that isn't there or if they end up taking the better route of engaging in serious investigatory work to see if what has been postulated is indeed true.
Concerning the RCC taking the route of engaging in serious investigation concerning this matter, I wont hold my breath. LOL.

Funny thing about all of these accusations is that even if the most brazen antiChristian sympbology and artistry were embedded within those artifices, they still would have no power over devotion to God through the simplest of faith in Christ.

To paraphrase something Russel Kirk said, the Church threw away its centuries of beauty and began building (and decorating) it's buildings in the finest architectural traditions of McDonalds. What a great - and sadly true - quote.

What breaks your devotion to Christ? Is it constant? Do you have no need of repentance?

Did we just have 300 posts on this topic a day or two ago?

What happens next won't be pretty. Hey, I went to Catholic school. Don't tell me you're bringing out Sister Mary Agnes and her ruler! That's inhumane!
To: Alex Murphy
Not to nit-pick, but 667 should be across the street from 666.
Unless they meet in a cul-de-sac. From which there is NO EXIT!!!!! Mwahahahahaha!!!

What happens next won't be pretty. Oh, you might think they're good, but I've caught glimpses of your albino midget blowgun assassins. Sloppy work, I'm telling you - the Jesuits recruit better talent. I've considered taking your assassins out, but then decided such a task was beneath me. I won't stoop that low.

This is ridiculous! Post number 9, now defunct, treated this sort of nonsense with just the right degree of amused contempt. What's wrong with this place?

I am what is "wrong" with this place, ArrogantBustard.
Post 9 was pulled because it was a personal attack carried forward from another thread. The poster is welcome to rephrase and repost.

Concerning the RCCI'm glad to see we're leaving the Eastern Catholics out of this.
In all the flurry of posts to your thread, LFC, I don't recall you responding to my last query. What about you? Have you seen the film?

A glutton for punishment, that's what YOU are, posting this thread.
On the other hand, it IS Lent. I guess I'll just go pick up my flagellum and beat myself about the head and shoulders, and then for some serious mortification, come back and read this thread some more. ;-D

Oh, I've been following that other thread, too. It's a fascinating exposition of all sorts of social and psychological pathology ... starting with the 'film' that's being flacked. I strongly suspect that this whole business (both threads) is just an attempt to drum up business for a grade-B movie ... check out the producers
here. They look to my uneducated eye like a bunch of one-hit wonders trying to capitalize on Dan Brown's book.
What the hey? It's your site ... if you want to let folks muck it up, that's your problem.

If that's the 'embedded' 666 it certainly isn't very subtle, it's rather large for an embedded image.
Perhaps it is meant to be 3 flats signifying the key of E flat.

These two related articles are piñatas for the Religion Forum - which is fine as long as the posters hit the piñata and not each other.
