Wanna bet? God performs the miracle through the saint's intercession, the same way he performs a miracle on behalf of any other Christian who prays for another, so you lose the bet. Sorry.
I thought "real Christians" like you didn't gamble, though, so I guess I learned something today.

Sure, I'll take that bet in an instant. The teaching is that saints intervene via prayer for a person. God is the source of the miracle, but God performs the miracle at the saint's request. This is no different than your or I praying for an ill family member or asking another person to offer prayers up.

If you are claiming that the Catholic Church teaches that saints perform miracles in their own right, then you are speaking falsely.
