Please pray for my sister, who is 22 years old. She recently had a routine examination, and the person that was performing part of her examination became concerned when doing an examination of one of her breasts. They ordered an ultrasound for the area, and they found a mass of some sorts. My sister, who lives in Phildelphia, is going home to my parents to find a surgeon that will do a biopsy on the area.
This has been a stressful time for my family health-wise. My mom had minor surgery earlier this year, my father had his kidney removed when they found a tumor on it (which, thank God, turned out to benign), and my sister, not even 3 weeks ago, injured herself snowboarding. She has been walking with a limp ever since, while the bruising she sustained heals.
Please pray for my entire family, that we may put our trust in God, that any anxiety be minimized, and that we may bear our sufferings well.
Sorry to hear about the troubles that have come upon your family!
Prayers have been sent asking the Lord to heal your sister and that the lump will be benign. I have asked Him to bring good health and healing to her and to your entire family. May God grant you all comfort and strength during these difficult days. May He Bless you abundantly, in Jesus name! Amen!
Prayers from TX
Thanks for the good news report. I'm very happy for all of you! After I posted to you, I saw the date, but it's OK, you all were prayed for again. That's something we can never get enough of. ;o)
That's wonderful! Thanks for the update and I'll keep you all in my prayers! :)
:-)
Hooray!
2 masses - did you know that usually 1 mass is more worrisome than multiples? Just FYI. In addition to the "fibroid" theory. ;-)
Thanks to God for making it not bad!
Thanks for the update!
Continued prayers.
Prayers to the Good Lord for a clean bill of health and strength and faith for your family. God Bless.
Prayers offered up from PA.
Your family remains in my prayers.
The incision was small, they put a bandaid on it and sent me on my way. It was a great feeling to know all was okay. I rejoice for your sis who must be feeling deliciously freepish right now (or is it freepishly delicious????).
Woo Hoo!
Leni
May the Lord bless your family abundantly now and forever. Amen!
Please notify me via FReepmail if you would like to be added to or taken off the Prayer Ping List.
Please post your prayers to Pyro7480;
"Thank you all for your prayers, and praise God for all the good things he has given to us."
Yes, indeed. Thanks so much for the update. Very glad to hear the good news.
We have some truly excellent cancer centers in Philadelphia; I have family members who were treated at Penn, Jeff and Fox Chase cancer centers...
Prayers go out for your sister and for you. God Bless
Prayers sent.
Hi Pyro, I'm so very sorry to hear about your sister. I will pray for her. Hopefully the results will show something benign. I'm dealing with my stepmom having 4th stage lung cancer and it's very scary. Even the hint of cancer is scary. Your family has been through a lot and you don't want to deal with this now, but God will give you strength. I'll pray for that, too.
You're sure dealing with a lot! May God help to lessen your burden and put some worries out of your hearts! May your family remain steadfast and grow stronger together as you face these challenges. May your sister find a great doctor whose hands will be guided by the Lord. May peace and faith be yours, and may you find comfort in our prayers.
