"I'm still gagging from the Seraphic Christ."
Thanks for the warning. I missed it on my first pass, and now I can spare myself by simply not going back.

Hmmmmmm...and this is a person the CofE wants as a saint??? The Church of England is an entity quite distinct from the American Episcopal church. (Whether they will become fellow-travellers is another issue.)

At the last Diocesan Choral Festival I participated in (before I finally swam the Tiber), one of the anthems began, "Holy Martin, Blessed Martyr." I couldn't bring myself to sing it . . . You are far more (ahem) tolerant than I, AAM! At the very hint of that I would have been (I hope) gone.
"Holy Martin..."?

I'm sorry. Here's something to console you:
Burns Night Clips. Don't have any haggis for you, though. Sorry.

I told you it was the LAST Diocesan Choral Festival I ever went to . . .
I gave the cathedral choir director a piece of my mind, too. Not that he cared what I thought (that's the problem with ECUSA, they don't care what anybody thinks.)

You know, for some reason I knew that. I sure have a hard time keeping straight some of these various churches. Thanks for the correction.

What kind of "church" would do this...a church looking for publicity and donations.
This is the church of what?
