Yep, that's Mahony. Seems like he's trying to bankrupt the church in more ways than one. Hope I didn't offend you.

"We will have to disagree on this."

Yes, argument will not avail. One suggestion, though: don't stake anything important on this point.

Sodomy is some dark parody of creation.

It cannot act as a conduit for life. It cannot open a path to the Holy Spirit. It cannot create.

It is so anti-God that it mocks God.

How can one be a priest and do something so hideous?

"Not in those dioceses run by homosexual bishops. Cardinal Mahony has already stated that he will ignore this directive. In certain dioceses (like Albany), the already paltry priesthood would practically disappear, were all the homosexual priests to leave."

Bishop Robert Lynch is head of our diocese in St. Petersburg, Fl. Lynch is close friends with Cardinal Mahony (some years ago, Lynch bragged about his close friendship with Mahony in the local Catholic paper), Bishops Howard Hubbard, Matthew Clark and other homosexual bishops. (Lynch was groomed by Cardinal Bernadine)

No doubt, Lynch will also blatantly ignore this directive like his friends in Rochester and Albany.

The Episcopal priest fails to realize that is the point. Catholics and all other Christian chruches want to push away the sodomite agenda. The Episcopal church has turned and is permitted to house them all. It will be the sodomite church and will attract all who are for gay dominance. Other churches chose to remain Christian and they need official civil rights protection from the Left in order to permit them to do so - NOW! We need to amend the civil rights act to add the protection of Christian-Christians NOW. So as the left succeeds in giving homosexuals civil rights status (which is above the rights of mere mortals), Christians also have the right to follow the dogma of their religion.

I didn't know that about Lynch (I live in Florida, too). There seems to be a sort of nucleus of these guys - all tightly revolving around Mahony and a couple of other "stars," such as the late Bernardin - who spend most of their time protecting each other and are going to be enormously difficult to root out. I wonder if BXVI will even try? One of the problems, however, is that many of them were appointed very young, and have a couple of decades ahead of them still.

Nothing will change in the US Church until these false shepherds are gone.

"So as the left succeeds in giving homosexuals civil rights status "

I have not resigned myself to the inevitability of that.

Gargiulo said McCarrick told him he wanted him back as a priest, but that he would have to be celibate. Gargiulo told McCarrick he would not return.

That just speaks volumnes don't it?
