Our message to the media, to the homosexual activists and to the [progressives] is clear. You can't have it both ways: you can't complain about Church negligence in the pedophilic priest problem and also complain about the Church's diligence in addressing it.

Oh, but they can, and they will. Their motivation is not to make the Church better, but to destroy it. They want us to divert The Way, to better accomodate their disordered proclivities - thus, normal becomes redefined, and they are thereby no longer out of the mainstream.

Although I am not a Catholic ("no kidding!", I hear a few of my RC friends here say)...

That article is spot-on target.

1. We are all called to be chaste.
2. Ordination is not a right, nor is it a Good Thing when the wrong person is ordained. Better not to try and find another vocation to which God calls you.
3. Remember the old joke, "You no play the game, you no make the rules!" Well, Benedict XVI plays the game at a Master level, and he makes the rules!

They do not see females as such. In other words, they do not see or experience objective reality. Since this is so, it follows that homosexual priests possess a serious handicap which makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to serve well as our Lord's faithful ordained ministers. Maybe an honest shrink would agree with this. The famous declaration never said that homosexuality is not a disorder, only that it was not a psychosis. Their reality is a bit like a Van Gogh painting. Interesting, even attractive, but not true.

Excellent! Thanks for the ping. May the Holy Spirit guide our church so that we have more men speaking as these 3.
