Prayer for all freepers in harms way and also to re route this hurricane back out to the ocean and fade away!
Another prayer request ---My grandfather still hasn't heard from his nieces (my cousins) who are/were in a 7th floor apartment since yesterday morning. The three of them are older women, so I'm getting worried all over again.

Greetings Restornu and other FR friends....I appreciate all of the kind remarks and miss you guys since my exile to outer darkness. Have been active posting on another site and am a Administrator there. It is better to ban than to be banned.
Here in Baton Rouge were are doing pretty good. Power is still off at our house but most of the city has it. BR has swelled twice its size in a week so it is hectic here coordinating efforts to help thouse really badly hurt by Katrina.
Our church has linked with LSU in assisting their efforts to deal with medically needy refugees from the storm. We've fixed lots of meals, provided water and snacks for volunteers and are housing out of town doctors who are here working long hours.
True religion indeed.
Thanks for the prayers and kind remarks.
BTW, Pope Piel I commends Benedict XVI -- great choice if you aren't ready for a Calvinist! I am awaiting the call from Rome to head up the Ministry of Parodies....
In Him,
