Floriduh Voter had a serious car accident this afternoon on 66th St. by Hospice and is lucky to be alive. FV's car went airborne after being hit and there were no brakes. She flew north onto a median and the car wouldn't stop - something told her to put the car in park and to take the key out. FV ended up in southward oncoming traffic facing north. Good Samaritans directed traffic around her car. (FV lost downforce when the impact took out the back windshield). The guy who hit FV was a half block south with the cops and paramedics. FV travelled a half a block, sometimes in mid-air. It was a miracle. Her car didn't make it but FV's going to take it easy for awhile. She REFUSED to sign a Living Will at the er. That was the first document shoved in her face.
For those following Terri Schiavo stories, this is very near the Hospice where Terri died.
I have no details whatsoever at this time except what I included here, will just add them if I get them or others as it comes in. FV could sure use some prayers and support.

Floriduh, in case you ever get back to read all the comments, God bless you as you recover from what was obviously not your time to go. I'm so glad you came through what must have been an unbelievable flight and violent landing.

FV I know God's hand was upon you and surely angels were there protecting you. Praying you bounce back quickly.

FV - We're praising the Lord that you are ok! His guardian angels surely kept you free from harm. We'll be praying for your speedy recovery. You'll probably be sore from being jolted around, but hopefully you'll be up and about soon. Let us know how you're doing.

Thanks, Salvation, haven't heard anything, so no news is good news, I suppose. With a shock like she must have experienced, I expect plenty of sleep and rest is in order.

I won't be casting much light on this. FV was shaken up and passed this on. I simply repeated it faithfully, not having a clear picture of what happened, either.
As evil floats all around that death center, so God's presence floats above.

I do not respond too well to old and tired logic traps like "Have you stopped beating your wife lately...."
Sound decent and polite and I will respond.
You said she was hospitalized, beating back living will bearing ghouls (one of the tip-offs that this is a lie) after having survived an airborne car accident that left the cars involved a good ways apart (but the local newspapers don't have anything on this dramatic scene) and yet she was making a post here on FR at the same time as your announcement.
Yes, I am very cynical and I don't believe the story.

I see my logical question has indeed trapped you and floriduh voter.
The fact is she was making a post on FR at the same time you were announcing this tale about flying cars, miraculous survival, the evil Terri hospice nearby and living will obsessed medical staff where an obviously alive and alert patient was taken.
And yet you feel offended by being called on to provide any documentation of what you have said.
Well, isn't that just typical of these threads. heh
(I'll grant that perhaps she had some kind of car accident...but not the scene you have described...but I'm only granting the possibility since her credibility is no great shakes)
