What about the trashing of the Catholic Church by the Simpsons in their season finale last nigh (15may5)?
I was disgusted and probably won't watch the Simpsons again.

I have never watched the Simpsons, my kids weren't allowed to watch them when they were little, and I will never watch the show. In my judgment the entire show trivializes marriage, family life and the sacredness of life in general.

I don't know I didn't see it but his description of Marge's Pretestant heaven as opposed to Catholic heaven was funny. Also, he said that the reason Bart and Homer come back to their Protestant Church has nothing to do with faith.

Did you even watch the program? There wasn't anything offensive towards the Church in it at all. Yes they had jokes in it about Catholicism, but last time I checked the Simpsons are still listed under "comedy".
