Hi everyone. A while back I posted a prayer request for my 2nd cousin Glenda who had cancer. I just wanted to thank you all for those prayers and to let you know she passed away at noon yesterday. She is with Jesus now, and most importantly is not suffering anymore. We learned last week her cancer had spread into her brain, after she was admitted for pneumonia. The spirit moved me to go and visit her on Mother's Day, and she took a turn for the worse and ended up on life support, unexpectedly, that night. The sad thing is that her daughter was to be married on Friday and she didn't make it. My own mom is having a surgery to remove a hernia Friday. I have decided to not attend the funeral (if there will be one) and be with my mom instead. Please, prayers for my mom and for Glenda.
Prayers up for you, your mom, and your cousin...
Prayers for you and yours.
May Glenda rest forever in the loving presence of our Lord Jesus.
And also may the Lord be with you and yours during the upcoming surgery and recuperation. May he guide the doctors and may the healing go smoothly.
Lord, be with us,
and let our cry come unto thee,
this day
and always,
in the name of Jesus,
Amen.
My prayers, too.
May God rest Glenda's soul in peace.
May He comfort all those who love her and are mourning at this time.
May He be with her daughter as she adjusts her wedding plans.
May He bless your mother with a uneventful and successful hernia operation.
Thanks be to God for prompting you to go visit Glenda on Mother's Day.
Peace and comfort to all of you.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I am leaving tonight, and as I journey on the train, I will be thinking of a lovely black lady who I met on my last train trip. She is the one who brought me to Jesus and I thank Him for her often. And for you guys too, for caring. May your well wishes and prayers come back to you in the name of our Lord Jesus.
You are welcome. May all traveling mercies be upon you and grace and strength.
Thanks be to God for that lady who shared the love of the Lord with you! May she be blessed beyond measure. And may that anointing continue on her life as she shares with others!
Be in His wholeness, His peace, and His health friend.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
JM
