According to a new biography on Rick Warren,A Life With A Purpose wrtten by George Mair,Rick Warren has solicited the services of Ken Blanchard to aid him to train leaders:"Rick taps the best and the most famous to help train church leaders to be like Jesus. he has hired Ken Blanchard...to come to saddleback to help train people how to be effective leaders."p.193

There is a wide road and a narrow road it seems the wide road really beckons and woos us all at one time or another.

Sad.

I do not share your concern about Mr. Warren.

Do you have anything at all to say about anything on topic? Other than attacking me, do you have a purpose on this thread?

You don't like my style, oh well. Don't read it. Goodbye.

Ken Blanchard's "One Minute Manager" is a quick decent read on getting things done via organization.

I don't think it's any big deal to have him speak on his specialty, but I have a different viewpoint than you.

I would give him his parameters if he were to speak at the church I pastor.

I would also entertain having a debate in the church between evolutionists and Intelligent Designers. In order to do so, I'd have to permit them to speak.

It is a given

No kidding. And, they are to be debated. So back to my original message, you are merely a rock thrower who makes absolute statements against others and provides nothing to support your own opinions. I've seen it in other threads too, not just here.

Let the lurkers beware...and, thanks for finally validating my original observation.

And, they are to be debated.

No they are not. You can agree or disagree with opinions. They aren't facts or concepts.

you are merely a rock thrower

Your only posts on this thread were to throw rocks at me. Oh well. Look in the mirror.

Now you said your piece, you don't like my style. I have no need of your approval.

Here my last post to you.
The reason I decided not to be a Psychologist is because I did not want to deal with people like you who Humanize their Spirituality.

The beating your wife analogy is Lame. I will however keep you in my prayers so that your eyes may be opened.

I don't know what Blanchard is up to or whether or not God is PO'd, but Blanchard co-authored with Norman Vincent Peale, one of the best books on management ethics and did me and a lot of others some good. "The Power of Ethical Management."

The Bible and Jesus Christ is the manager of Christianity.
Salvation is not a business plan!

The beating your wife analogy is Lame.

It was designed to show how lame your comment was. It worked.

I will however keep you in my prayers so that your eyes may be opened.

Oh Pulleeeeezzze.

How's this? My eyes are open, and your eyes are closed. I am right, you are wrong, so I'll pray for you.

Sound familiar? It's what you just said to me with that comment. Talk about lame.

You should spend more time on your knees asking forgiveness for the false witness you gave against me.

I need prayer like all people, but I'll take my chances without yours.

PS, I really think you need some help with your mental health.

Here my last post to you.

I'd pray for that.

Just more from the "Buy my book, not Rick's" crowd.

So you're admitting Rick's in it for the money then?

I wouldn't have a problem with that if the teaching was in line with Scripture. But we all know that the true Gospel doesn't make a person much money, don't we?

You seem to be one of them.

Actually no, he's talking about Rick Warren... and Blanchard. Among others... Schuller, and Benny Hinn and pretty much everyone on TBN...

What is it you claim people will not listen to?

Scriptural critiques of Rick Warren's doctrine. And yes, there is doctrine therein. Very man-centered. But those without discernment based on sound Biblical teaching like Warren because it makes them feel good. Therefore they can't hear, because they have a banana in their ear.

That is what I am doing by opposing the things you say.

Maybe you should analyze them in light of scripture instead.

Your post is nearly unintelligible. You offer no proof, and yet you gladly libel a man as a false prophet. You are, to put it succinctly, full of it.
