If this weren't so hysterical, it would just be sad. According to this article in The Living Church, ECUSA Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold named six Episcopalians as agents of 'the devil.'

The devil is a liar and the father of lies and the devil was certainly moving about Dromantine, the site of the primates’ meeting in Northern Ireland, the presiding Bishop said, according to accounts from several bishops who spoke to THE LIVING CHURCH on the condition that their names not be revealed. The primates were "out for blood," Bishop Griswold told them.

In a Stand Firm exclusive, we have obtained the above photos depicting (l-r) Bishop Robert Duncan, Diane Knippers, The Rev. David Anderson, Dr. Kendall Harmon, The Rev. Bill Atwood, and The Rev. Martyn Minns - all named by Griswold as 'devils' - wearing what are clearly cheap novelty-store devil's horns headpieces.

Anonymous sources also report that during the meeting in Newry, late at night, Peter Akinola would sometimes tiptoe past Griswold's bedroom, saying "Fraaaaaaaaank! FRAAAAAAAAAANK!!!" in that really spooky ghost voice.

UPDATE: This just in! Integrity, Oasis, Claiming the Blessing, and Via Media, longtime critics of the practice of "demonizing" one's opponent, have issued this statement on Griswold's demonizing of leading conservative Episcopalians:

I can't help but wonder what Arlin would say were he here. We worshipped with both Diane Knippers and the Reverend Martyn Minns at Truro in Fairfax, Virginia, and I will attest to their devout and irreproachable service to the Lord Jesus Christ and to His church.

Arlin shared with all of these faithful servants of the Lord through various Episcopalian and Anglican venues and would heartily defend each one, in fact I am sure he's doing just that, in a different realm.

In Jesus' Name I forgive Frank Griswold for being deceived and speaking such lies. In Jesus' Name I forgive all those who have sinned against these six faithful saints in any way. Please pour deliverance, salvation, and healing into all who have sinned against these six and open their eyes, turn them from darkness to light, from the enemy's power to Your holy power, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place with those who by faith belong to Your eternal kingdom.

Father God, in the Name above all Names, please pour strength and wisdom and perserverance on Bishop Robert Duncan, Diane Knippers, The Rev. David Anderson, Dr. Kendall Harmon, The Rev. Bill Atwood, and The Rev. Martyn Minns and onto each member of their family. Send holy warring angels to stop the attack of the enemy on them. I speak great grace over all of them in this hour. Please surround them with peace and joy and love. Great grace. Great grace.
