as 13 is a "sacred number" in the occult...

13 and 31 are known as the Signature of G-d in some Rabbinic circles. They are the only prime numbers that are transpositions of each other that also transpositions of the square of each. 13 squared is 169, and 31 squared is 961.

Shows up in certain mystical contexts I believe, but I certainly wouldn't call it occultic in the demonic sense.

Yes - I agree with what you say about the good signifcances of the number 13. Yet at the same time, it has tremendous occult signifcance.

"Both sides" use it. Similar to 33, which is a "sacred" occult number. Yet it is also the number of years of Christ's life.........and is the number of buttons on a priest's cassock.

I don't like to think about that kind of thing. I really wish I could trust our Church Leadership more than I do. I do trust Sister Lucy. Forget all the others on the canonization assembly line Sister Lucy had it all. I don't think it will take anytime at all for the required miracles to be confirmed and more than necessary.

A Tuesday funeral seems a little fast, imo. Since Sr. Lucia was such a prominent personality, shouldn't she have an open casket where people can pay respects?

Perhaps you saw the pictures of Mel Gibson and Sister Lucia's meeting posted on the web a few months ago. They met at her request.
The pictures were held until an appropriate time for several reasons. One is that Gibson didn't want to make it appear that he was using Sister for promotion of his movie. He gave her an advance copy of the Passion. Sister did not look the least bit "disabled" but bright and cognizant as to the meeting -- behind a windowed screen, of course.
