
Sisters Laurie Marie Parisi, C.R., and Lisa Rose Parisi, C.R., are real-life siblings who both felt a call to the religious life after high school. They are members of the Sisters of the Resurrection in Castleton.

I attended a funeral last Saturday, where the person being honored was a 17 year old young woman who intended to join her sister in the
Oblates of Mary, Queen of Apostles. Though she hadn't even entered the convent yet when she died, she is being honored by them by being buried in the cemetary. The way people were speaking about her, there is no doubt in my mind that she either is spending a short time in purgatory, or is already in Heaven.
