I attended a funeral last Saturday, where the person being honored was a 17 year old young woman who intended to join her sister in the Oblates of Mary, Queen of Apostles. Though she hadn't even entered the convent yet when she died, she is being honored by them by being buried in the cemetary. The way people were speaking about her, there is no doubt in my mind that she either is spending a short time in purgatory, or is already in Heaven.

after perusing their site, I imagine few of those sisters spend much time in Purgatory. What a beautiful community! I've always been fascinated by the cloistered life. Had I not met my husband 3 years ago, I would probably be seriously looking into monasticism right now. But God had other plans, so here I am, posting on Freep instead of at Vespers :)
