I fully expect you to back up the implication that I have ever made such a remark or have even hinted that I felt that way about any Pope. I never implied you did, and didn't intend to. But, someone on your "side of the aisle" has posted that description of the Pope within the last week, at least twice.

And there are Lesbian nuns who want to see the priesthood opened up so she can have her Druid/Christian unity Mass on your side of the aisle. (or is that the Episcopagans) No matter most get my point, you were very clearly painting with a broad brush and I suspect intentionally.
If a poster considers the Pope an anti-pope but agrees with my side on most things I haven't a lot I can do. Where he is right he is right. The same goes for the match set on your side, I just prefer to make the distinction.

Abortion isn't a felony, it's an injustice. Now prance back to your thinking rock and come up with a better argument.

I don't know Pius IX from Adam, and actually thought he was the chap charged with being soft on the Nazis (unfairly I have tentatively concluded), so that just shows how little I know, and I will take your word for it. If Pius IX had secular authority, and the law was what he said it was, well then he was just not a law breaker, just a power abuser (assuming the charges are true).

"Is that what passes for sarcasm in the UK?"
Kid-napping is not something one encounters much here in the UK, so instead I had to consider the merits of saving some young impoverished soul, Jewish or otherwise, with handshakes, chocolate chip cookies and nothing much else.
