Well if you rely on monthly fees for income I guess it's good.
If you have a birthday on the 29th, 30th or 31st it might not be.

Described on his Internet home page as "both a visionary and a prophet",

Beware anyone who describes himself as a prophet or gets his friends to do the same (a very common ploy among New Age speakers)

Dr. Arguelles bestowed upon himself the pagan name of, "Valum Votan". In a New Age magazine interview, he said it was "not until after he experimented with LSD that he realized he was a visionary."

Great, just great. Two guys drop acid, one lives under a bridge and another one goes to work for the UN.

Sounds like a bunch of Europeans are still upset that we have not started using the Metric system. Oh well. I have faith that, Christmas and the calendar that we use now, will remain for a good long time.

The two largest self-identified people groups in the world, Christians and Muslims, use religious based calenders. The Chines use one based on the founding of one of the dynasties, I think. Why should more than 65% of the worlds population (these three groups) change to accommodate well less than 1% of the worlds population (Wiccian, pagan, New Age) for a 13 month cycle.

Witnessing the effort that went into Y2K, most of the developed world (1st and 2nd world countries) use the Gregorian Calender in their computer systems. It will be next to impossible to change the computer dating to a 13 month cycle.

Ain't gonna happen, no matter what the UN tries to do.

Hasn't Pope John Paul 2 lent vociferous public support to the aims of the U.N.?
I wonder if his holiness will apologize for these statements in the light of these developments.
It seems that these days Vatican apologies are reserved for "overzealous" attempts to convert the heathen and stem the rising tide of islam during the crusades.

Given that this is an absurdity, as a computer programmer, I can imagine how switching to that "calendar" would effect the computer programs of the world? You think Y2K was a potential problem, imagine the nightmare of converting to a 13-month, 28 -day calendar!
